Never Alone

“Where can I go from Your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your presence? If I go up to the heavens, You are there; if I make my bed in the depths, You are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there Your hand will guide me, Your right hand will hold me fast” Psalm 139: 7-10 (NIV)

My little niece loves for me to play hide and seek with her.  When it is her turn to hide, I make sure and count real slow and actually not look too hard to find her.  She will crawl out of her hiding place just giggling and saying, “Lissa, I’m the best hider!”  When it is my turn, she counts really fast and I hide so I can instantly be spotted. (There is not many places a 6’3 person can hide and not be seen!) She loves it, and we can play for hours.

I am so glad that God never hides and we don’t have to play, “hide and seek” to find Him!  He is always with us and can always see us.  No matter where we are in life, God can see us.  Have you ever felt hidden from God?  I can assure you, that you are not!  He sees you.  No matter where you are!  God loves you and He has never moved.  If we can’t “see” God, we are the ones who have moved, not God.

“Heavenly Father, It is so comforting to know that You are constantly with me!  You know exactly where I am and what I face.  Thank You for never hiding from me, always loving and protecting me.  Hold me fast with Your right hand and guide me each moment of this day!”

For His Glory
