Soul To Soul

Like an open book, I have watched the pages of your life unfolding.  I shaped you inside and out; I specifically formed every part of you in your mother’s womb.  I know your personality, character, integrity, struggles, challenges, disappointments and fears.  I chose you from the very beginning, and I’ve been sculpting something beautiful and unique in you.  Glimpses of your life have been captured in My heart and cherished; not a single day or event went unnoticed. You can’t even begin to comprehend or understand the depths of My love, thoughts and desires for you.  Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.  My thoughts that I think toward you are thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you a future and a hope.  I have loved you with an everlasting love and no one can ever separate My love from you; you are etched in the palm of My hands.

Sounds too good to be true, but it isn’t – God extends a  personal invitation to each of us.  John 3:16 puts it this way: “This is how much God loved the world:  He gave His one and only Son.  And this is why:  so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in Him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.”    Even though we live our lives doing the wrong things – God still loves us!  He paid the price, He paved the way. His Son, Jesus’,  death on the cross bridged the gap between our sin and God’s Holiness. Amazing love filled with grace that washes over all our sins.  “For Jesus died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring us to God.  He was put to death in the body,  but made alive by the Spirit” (I Peter 3:18).  And we simply accept His invitation, confess our sins and place our trust in God. It’s the perfect ending that never truly ends – we will spend eternity with God enjoying the glories of Heaven.   Are you ready to accept God’s invitation?

Simply pray these words from your heart

Dear Jesus, I am so amazed by your love for me. I know that I am a sinner in need of your grace and forgiveness.  I deserve to be punished, yet your death on the cross covers all my sins. Father, wash away my sins, cleanse my heart and empower me to live all of my days praising Your name.  Thank you for saving me.  Thank You for loving me.  Amen

  1. Your Coffee Break devotionals have meant so much to me. They are so very inspiring and even make me stop and think about the way I am living my life. God has been so good to me and I shout his goodness to all I meet, He found me a Christian family to live with when i was 13 months old, and so many many good things thru my childhood. Since moving to the Roanoke area he provided me with the peace I needed to enjoy life and worship him. Then 6 years ago I was diagnosed with cancer. He completely cured me of that but 4 years later I was diagnosed with breast cancer. As of today I am cured of that also. God has brought me thru this dreaded illness and has healed me completely. God is so good. Thank you all for the wonderful “blogs” in the mornings. It is the first thing I look for when I open my email. May God bless you all.
