My Heart’s Desire

“With God’s power working in us, God can do much, much more than anything we can ask or imagine.”  Ephesians 3:20(NCV)

I prayed for one clear open door.  Two actually opened, but God filled my heart with joy for the one.  Months of working part time, waiting and wondering  what God had in store. Why was I going thru this valley and what were the lessons I needed to learn.  I recited Jeremiah 29:11, Ephesians 3:20, and Isaiah 41:10.  The door that filled me with joy was my church, the place where my heart is; they called me and wanted me.   I was blown away, humbled, honored, and jumping for joy at even the thought.  Could I really work for the church?  Who am I?    Satan began working overtime placing doubts in my head,  but joy  overflowed my heart.  My spirit leaped at every message, every glimmer of hope.   I’ve experienced several true miracles in my life but this one, this one blows them all away.  I honestly don’t deserve it.  I know I trusted God to fill a need, I gave it to him and He gave me an Ephesians 3:20 testimony.    What seemed so impossible became a reality.

Are you currently waiting?  I can without a doubt say God is able to do abundantly more than we ever ask or imagine.  He can place that desire in your heart.  He can work out the details of life that seem so impossible.  He can provide the need that maybe you aren’t even aware that is there.  He wants to do it. He wants to grow you, prune you, and use you.  You just have to Let go, and let God!

“Father, thank you for the abundance You have blessed my family with and for the honor to serve You in Your house.  I am unworthy and humbled at Your great mercy.”

For His Glory,
